Pass out the cigars, boys! We gots PUPPIES!!!! I haven't slept yet!
The first baby was born stillborn (dangit), but then along came the next one, then a third... then a fourth!
We thought after the third, that was it.
But, surprise! A fifth! My wee little Luna had FIVE puppies! All of them "champagne" colored!
Luna showed NO signs of being in labor. She didn't whine, cry, or even pant. It wasn't till she had the stillborn one that I even knew she was having the pups. She's such an excellent mommy already! She knows what to do and when to do it.
Here's a shot of the four pups. I named them after drag queens from the movies. First boy- Simon; First girl- Lola (from "Kinky Boots"); Second girl- Bernadette (from "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert"); second boy- Albert (from "The Birdcage"). We named the one that died- Mitzi (also from Priscilla). These are the names till they're bought and the new owners name them.
